It all began with a rare moment of inspiration, genius, and madness, which took place in a dimly lit Manhattan bar. Two Scotsmen came up with an incredible concept – a vodka that would be so refined, cool, and pure that it could only be created one way.
To achieve this, we sought the unique skills of Scottish distillers and insisted on using only Scottish malted barley and mountain water. However, no suitable distillation method existed, so we had to invent an entirely new process. We developed a quintuple micro-distillation technique that was decidedly untraditional, just for us.
As a result, we proudly created the world’s first Scottish Single Malt Vodka, Valt. It is a pure tribute to the Scottish pioneers of past generations, and a spirit of the new age. Its individuality and character make it an undeniable part of our heritage.
Tasting Valt Vodka is an experience like no other. Describing the smoothness of our Scottish vodka is easy, given its distinctive flavour profile.
A Taste of Valt Vodka
- Nose: clean and crisp nose with subtle hints of vanilla and toasted grains.
- Palate: smooth and velvety, with a light sweetness that gives way to a gentle peppery spice. The mouthfeel is creamy and delicate, with a subtle hint of almond and a faint floral note. The use of Scottish malted barley provides a unique depth of flavour that is unlike any other vodka.
- Finish: long and clean, with a gentle warmth that lingers on the tongue. The sweetness returns with a touch of vanilla and a final note of white pepper.

Xalt, named after the word ‘exalt’ which means to hold in high regard, is a Scottish vodka that is meticulously crafted using our unique distillation and chilling process.
We start with our Single Malt Vodka and take it to the next level by subjecting it to an additional finishing chill filtration process.
